Wilson Lake provides some of the best rainbow trout fishery in the
Kootenays with fish of sizes up to 3 kg (6.5 lb). Kokanee is also
abundant in the lake.
Summit and Box Lakes - Both nearby Summit and Box
Lakes are also known for their rainbow populations. Early season
fly fishing and trolling are the methods used with the most success.
Late summer and fall are also good.
Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start
